IKEA Industry Älmhult AB contributes with more than 200 engaged, down-to-earth, and fantastic employees who annually produce about 5.6 million lacquered fronts for furniture, mainly kitchens. We have a modern, automated production in Älmhult where quality at every step and process is part of our Lean work. We call it IPS, IKEA Production System. Your role
As an Energy Leader, you will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and optimizing the facility's infrastructure processes (electricity, air, ventilation, heat production, etc.). You will be part of the Technical team and report to our Technical Manager.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and following up on the energy efficiency program, coordinating actions, and evaluating energy data.
- Managing and planning tasks for external electricians.
- Ensuring compliance with the Electrical Competence Matrix.
- Identifying investment needs and implementing investments within your area of responsibility, as well as preparing and following up on cost budgets.
- Ensuring that instructions and training for employees are conducted within your area of responsibility.
- Taking overall responsibility for ATEX.
You will be the electrical safety responsible for the entire facility.
Who are you and what qualifications are required?
We are looking for someone with a high level of ambition to develop together with us, who is proactive in identifying areas for improvement, has a high level of ambition with great drive and curiosity. You dare to question.
And you have:
- At least a 3-year electrical education at the high school level.
- Electrician competence.
- Experience in similar work within production.
- Knowledge of our infrastructure and energy systems.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
